Life Transitions & Work-Life Balance

Life transitions and stressors are an inevitable part of life. Life events that tend to cause an increase in stress may include transitioning to adulthood, going to college, moving to a new home, relocation, getting married, travel, separation, divorce, having a child, starting a new job, workplace stressors and retirement.

My approach to life transition counseling is to help you get through these emotionally stressful life changes using healthy coping mechanisms, reframing thoughts, acceptance techniques, examining routines and exploring realistic expectations. In addition, we work through plans to deal with stressful situations that arise.
